ever since you were so scared of bees
Ever since you swallowed gasoline
ever since you fell out that window
I’ve remained intrigued
I’ve suckered for every word
I’ve suckered for every look
I’m a let you know let you know let you know
you’re so so so so so
I’m a let you know let you know let you know
you’re so so so so so
every since you were the queen of sake
the knees have been scuffed
climbing fences and small backseats
the knees remained taut
and KD is the king of the ear flop
KD is king of the ear flop
we push for the odd numbers
Draw out a game plan
If we could invent a secret language
Inshallah, Inshallah
If We could invent a secret language
Inshallah, Inshallah
Feel decades down the back end Climbing out of shotguns
We are made of wild energy
Pull a father of swords
I’m a let you know let you know let you know
you’re so so so so so You cannot hide
what lays under a branch
You need to hear the other notes
for a second glance Grenadine is the queen bee of red forty
Grenadine is the queen bee of red forty
never seen a popsicle
melt away so fast
We can’t hide a single line Scurry through the empty throngs
Gulping up all the laughter
a sunny freak train sing along
XO fourteen times in a row
XO fourteen times in a row
this is known as AD
There’s not a time before it
I’m a let you know let you know let you know
you’re so so so so so
I’m a let you know let you know let you know
you’re so so so so so
Kiss me back, full eyes I’m so let you know
Lit like a roman candle I’m so let you know
pregnant pause in a car I’m so let you know
full slab, mild sauce I’m so let you know

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
